Globalization: What is it, and How Does it Affect Us?

My sketch-note of globalization and trade

While in social studies class, I have learned facts about globalization and trade that will help me with understanding the world around me. However, there was one point that struck me as the most interesting fact of all. When I learned the positive and negative impacts of globalization, I noticed that even though a developing country might increase in jobs because the production might be cheaper, there are negative effects of this. When a corporation moves to that developing country, many workers are laid off in developed countries, and those people are then jobless.

Also, I am most proud of one drawing particularly on my sketch-note. I drew the negative effects of globalization, and worker right violations was depicted. I drew a large pair of hands ripping the frail, underpaid worker's rights of work. This symbolizes how powerful people in a often company abuse helpless workers.
