When I learned about the factors that influence settlement, I learned many interesting points about why people settle where they do. However, there was one fact that striked me as the most interesting about how climate, physical features, and natural resources impact settlement. I learned the term ´population center´ the middle of a region´s population in a certain place in that region. If I were never in this class, I would have had no idea what this meant. Also, there is a part of my sketchnote of which I am most proud. I´m proud of my drawing that depicts what aspects of climate people do not like. I like this part the most because it has the most color and the symbols of each climate are unique. I sure have learned a lot in these past classes about settlement!
