It is important to to be bothered for many reasons. This feeling is productive and helps in many instances. For example, Michael Jordan chose to be bothered when he got cut from his High School Varsity Team. Without this crucial emotion inside him, he would have just been sad, moping around, and frustrated. But he didn´t. Jordan chose that it was in his best interest to be bothered, to work hard, and make the team. This shows that being bothered can make you do truly great things, Jordan now being one of the most famous basketball players of all time, making it to the hall of fame.
In addition, being bothered makes the world a better place a little bit more. In the Video ¨Georgia Orphan´s Mission: Make others smile¨, Jaden chose to be bothered that others didn't smile, rather than going about his own, sad life. When his moonshot thinking started, he gave away ducks, and made others lives much more happy. This became a way to make his whole community brighter by just that small duck.
Finally, when not being bothered, the world stays the same, boring self, with crime and worse. Take GenerationOn, for instance. The group created projects for almost every topic. Without this moonshot, bothered thinking, those very helpful projects wouldn't have even existed, and the world would have been not nearly as good as it is today.
According to many articles, being bothered plays a big role in being successful, making the world better, and keeping things different.

I like how you gave examples to prove you point. One question I have is that have you been bothered by anything and why does that bother you?
ReplyDeleteI have been bothered by many things such as AIDS, and food/water problems worldwide. I am planning on travelling to other areas and help with this. I chose to use the after effect though. Thanks for the opinion!
DeleteGreat analogies! I enjoyed your thoughts on why you are bothered and how you talked about people that chose to be bothered, like Michael Jordan. I wonder what would have happened if Michael Jordan didn't choose to be bothered?
ReplyDeleteI think that he probably would not have been in the NBA! Being bothered is a great thing.
